: The hotel Crillon is a historic 5-star luxury hotel. Opening its doors in 1909, the building dates back to 1758 under the rule of King Louis XV.
On February 6, 1778, the building was the venue where the newly founded United States and France signed their first treaties. Benjamin Franklin met with French diplomat Conrad Alexandre Gerard de Rayneval
to conclude the French-American treaty that recognized the Declaration of Independence.
The hotel has hosted countless high-profile guests including Winston Churchill, Charlie Chaplin, Theodore Roosevelt, Madonna, and Taylor Swift.
