This beautiful pendant has the Tibetan (Sanskrit) sacred Om Mani Padme Hum mantra hand carved into it in between two turquoise colored, natural stones strips, with natural Turquoise gemstone inlaid art work on both sides
The front side delicately carved
with Tibetan
6-word Holy Mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum" in kind of brass color
; the back side carved with Symbols of Sun, Star and Moon; and both sides with Turquoise inlaid

The mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum" contains the essence of the entire teaching of Buddhism. When you say the first syllable Om it is blessed to help you achieve perfection in the practice of generosity, Ma helps perfect the practice of pure ethics, and Ni helps achieve perfection in the practice of tolerance and patience. Pad, the fourth syllable, helps to achieve perfection of perseverance, Me helps achieve perfection in the practice of concentration, and the final sixth syllable Hum helps achieve perfection in the practice of wisdom. So in this way recitation of the mantra helps achieve perfection in the six practices from generosity to wisdom. The path of these six perfection's is the path walked by all the Buddha's of the three times.

very different  from modern style jewelry, of which quite some are machine made, with exact same pattern same stone and smooth all around
