Super-Rare Early Columbia Record Boxes for 1st Grafonola De Luxe & Reginas!

In my ongoing quest to thin out my collection, I am or will be posting on Ebay a number of antique phonograph parts and accessories that I picked up over the decades in here in northern New England, usually in large lots or salvaged from machines beyond restoration. These are a really remarkable find: A partial set of very early Columbia record boxes, which I rescued from a 1909 Columbia Grafonola De Luxe that was, sadly, beyond salvation. These are so rare that I didn’t even know they existed before I found them; I have since learned that they came with (but are almost never found with) the first version of the De Luxe, and possibly with the 1908 Columbia Symphony Upright Disc Graphophone and certain Regina music boxes that had Columbia phonograph attachments. This lot consists of 5 record boxes, two of which are intact; I believe a third one is complete but partially disassembled. Four of the boxes (including the two complete and intact ones) hold 12-inch discs; the fifth is for 10-inch discs. The larger ones measure 13.5”w x 13.0”h x 3.25”d, and the smaller one measures 11.5”w x 10.5”h x 3.25”d. If you have been searching high and low for some of these and thought you’d never find them, this is your lucky day; I doubt very much you will ever find another. Best of all, I offer it here with NO RESERVE – high bidder takes it!
I will ship this lot ONLY within the United States. If you live elsewhere and are interested in it, please contact me BEFORE bidding so we can discuss the shipping charges, which can be very expensive outside the U.S. I ship once a week (whenever possible). Having received, over the years, some items that did not survive shipping, I always take care to pack very carefully. If you prefer, I will be happy to drop it off at a nearby UPS store and have it professionally packed and shipped at your expense. I reserve the right to raise or lower the shipping charges should they prove to be significantly different than those determined by the shipping calculator.
