Born James Mercer Langston Hughes in Joplin, Missouri, on February 1, 1902, the young boy moved around throughout his early years growing up with his maternal grandmother after his parents’ divorce. When she passed away, he went to live with his mom in Cleveland, where he began to write poetry. After spending a year in Mexico with his dad, he enrolled at Columbia University in New York City in 1921 and became a leading voice of the Harlem Renaissance
movement.
I package all my 78's as if they were glass plates. I layer in card board on both sides of every disc and then wrap all angles in bubble wrap. Then Inside a box seal it up. Then I cut out corner supports from double wall corrugated card board, and stick it in another box. Then I fill excess space with peanuts, and seal up tight w
ith Brightly colored Fragile stickers on all sides of box. I have had no issues in the past. I am confident that if anything I
will over- do it.
