PEG BUNDY (KATY SAGAL) INSPIRED JACKET, CREATED BY THE SHOW'S COSTUME DESIGNER

A unique and spectacular, one-of-a-kind item.
Created in 1992 for the charitable fundraising organization DIFFA/DALLAS by the long-time Costume Designer Marti Squyers, this beautifully decorated women's XLARGE Levi Strauss and Co. jacket is decorated with costume jewelry worn by Katy Sagal as Peg Bundy on 'Married With Children' and comes with a pair of screen-worn earrings, "to be worn with the jacket". (I also found a small pendant or earring in one of the pockets that Marti may have meant to attach and forgot about.)
This auction also includes a two-page, handwritten letter by Marti Squyers, describing exactly how the jacket was made.
Marti Squyers was the Costume Designer for 'Married...With Children' for 259 episodes of 'Married...With Children' from 1987 to 1997. Prior to that, she worked as Costume Designer on other shows, including 'Rachel Gunn, RN', 'Top of the Heap' and 'Archie Bunker's Place'.
