    D-2019
    Chicago native Ivan Irwin made his NHL debut with the Canadiens, playing in four games in 1952-53.  Prior to the start of the following season, he was traded to the Rangers for Pete Babando,  For four more seasons, he was one of New York's dependable defenseman.  He played in 155 games and scored a pair of  goals.
    I am listing a number of old time hockey players' autographs that have been part of my collection since 1970.  I purchased them from a collector who had gotten most of them in the 1940's and 1950's and many of the players signed when they were still playing minor league hockey before making it to the NHL.
