Replacement* for Broken Ink Carriage Gear.
*You can find several YouTube videos showing how to replace the broken gear, and to find out if you really need this gear.
The HP original gears were prone to breakage.   Hp no longer sells these gears.   You must use care when replacing the gear so as not to damage it during installation.   Also, I use a little silicone lube on the new gear to help prolong life.
The damage to these gears is mainly caused by manually trying to force the carriage to move or by stopping it from moving while in operation.
