    Frank Mathers Autographed 3X5 Index Card Toronto Maple Leafs (1948-49)
    D-2005  Hockey Hall of Fame 1992
    This is a Frank Mathers autographed index card, a member of the Builders section of the Hockey Hall of Fame.  He played for the Maple Leafs in parts of three seasons (1948-52) as a defenseman.  He was the longtime coach of the AHL's Hershey Bears, guiding the team to six Calder Cup championships.
    I am listing a number of old time hockey players' autographs that have been part of my collection since 1970.  I purchased them from a collector who had gotten most of them in the 1940's and 1950's and many of the players signed when they were still playing minor league hockey before making it to the NHL.
