    Description

    Antique Columbia Graphophone - last patent date showing 1897.  Wooden base is pretty rickety, with cracks etc - but it is in one piece (comes with case cover also).  This actually works - tried with a cylinder that was with it, but the base that the reproducer sits in is partly broken away, so the reproducer doesn't stay in it - tried it by taping it in the holder and it played, but wasn't moving across the cylinder like it should, likely because of not fitting properly in the holder and taped - but I could move it slowly along the cylinder and it would play further instead of just playing a little and stopping in place and just skipping where it sat.  If someone can replace that holder part for the reproducer it seems to be fine - although just old and no horn.
