    Here is a beautifully restored working antique phonograph by the
    Standard Talking Machine
    Company
    with 1901 patent date, housed in golden oak cabinet. The original motor has a new spring and has been cleaned and lubricated. Reproducer has new gaskets and has great volume and clarity. This outfit plays 78rpm records, 2 records included, many more are available on eBay and elsewhere. This machine includes professionally repainted original red horn and plays loud and clear. Motor has has been serviced and runs strong and plays a 78rpm all the way through on a full winding, with moderate motor noise; new green turntable felt , with all the original metal parts cleaned, with new rubber feet. Horn and metal parts in great shape, one small bump at front left corner as pictured. Notice that this machine comes fitted with original large spindled turntable and can ONLY play Standard brand records, or any 78rpm record with a Standard sized spindle hole. It is easy to drill regular 78rpm records to fit, or find original Standard brand records on eBay and elsewhere. A handsome machine plays loud and clear , ready for its next 100 years. Not an "attic or barn find" that often shows up. Those examples are often in poor condition and belong on the rubbish heap unless they are properly restored.  This phonograph is ready to use and enjoy upon delivery , with 2 78rpm records and extra needles. A great introduction to the antique phonograph hobby. More detailed photos can be provided.
