The Angola 5 Kwanza banknote is part of the family of notes issued in 2012 by the Banco Nacional de Angola. This specific note is in uncirculated condition and is TAP authenticated. The obverse side of the note features Jose Eduardo dos Santos and Antonio Agostinho Neto. It also bears The Thinker in Optically Variable Ink and the BNA as the banknotes registration device. The reverse of the note depicts the national emblem of Angola, fishing boats, fishermen mending nets, and seagulls that are known as Pesca artesanal. A tribal mask is also visible on the upper right part of the reverse side. The banknote is 166 x 66 mm in size and has a solid security thread with a demetallized BNA. It also has The Thinker as its watermark.
